The only injury that’s genuinely concerning has been the hamstring. That’s a soft issue injury. Maybe he has weak tendons or something but he’s also just taken some very unfortunate hits.

He’s a fantastic QB but man he needs to
Protect his body better.

I mean I wouldn’t even say that’s the issue. He was just escaping pressure from the pocket. Doing that is what makes him a good football player. Injuries are just a thing that happens unfortunately. If he were getting hurt making dumb decisions running with the football I’d agree but that’s never been the case.

Guys like Lamar Jackson and Russell Wilson were guys I'd point to who slide to protect themselves, not do that bullshit slide at the last possible second. So yeah seems like bad luck.

100%, Lamar has always been excellent at getting down in the open field. One of his best traits. He took a few unnecessary hits back in like 2019 but he has been very good at avoiding them for a long time. People on here are incapable of things just happening sometimes without some hyper specific reason lol.

Bad luck kinda dude

Everyone says this about Burrow but for some reason won't about Lamar. Even though he's missed more games than burrow over the last ~5 seasons.

It’s the more frequent playoff presence I’d bet
When burrow is out the Bengals haven’t stayed afloat enough for him to make it back for meaningful games, whereas even when Lamar has missed time he usually makes it back with the team staying alive for playoffs, maybe?

Yeah that's definitely it. Crazy how many more playoff trips Lamar has than burrow but he's never even made it to the bowl.

I think bengals and ravens are kinda similar when their QB1 are out, like Flacco and Huntley CAN win games but they can also quite easily lose them. But yeah it is not very favorable in our division at all.

This isn't correct, Lamar has played in 62 and Joe has played in 56 in that time.

The tilde was VERY intentional!
