From the Pro Bowl to this, what a fall off

To be fair, Shedeur making the pro bowl basically ended the pro bowl forever

That’s still so funny because imagine being so ass that the pro bowl is abolished after decades because you managed to make it

Its even funnier when you consider GenZ and Alpha will probably associate the family with failure instead Deion's greatness since they've only ever known "Sanders is ass lmao". That will be Deion's legacy.
Couldn't happen to a nicer guy.

This is utterly delusional?
Shedeur will be forgotten as soon as he’s out of the league
Deion is a bonafide football legend forever engrained in the history of the sport

Shedeur will be a trivia question in 10 years. “Did you know Deion Sanders kid played backup qb for the browns?? He even made the pro bowl in its last year since it was so broken.”

Yea so are all the legends from the 70s, 80s, and the early 90s
But since I didn't watch them, they're just basically names to me.
When you and me hear "Sanders" we think of Deion being a freak of nature on the field; they think of Shaduer's memeable plummet into 3rd string QB

I grew up a Cowboys fan, but I know it both ways. Loved Deion to death, best corner ever even without tackling. Arrogant and egotistical as all hell though.
But watching his arrogant ass raise a kid who is miserable at being a qb has just been funny. And for the Browns of all teams. They just deserve the pain.

Understood, but recency bias is a thing, especially with younger people (which this comment is about- younger people who are going to grow up having watched Shadeur, not Deion). I guarantee if you go ask some ten year olds who’s better, Tom Brady or Patrick Mahomes, they’re gonna say Mahomes.

True but that draft slide isn’t being forgotten any time soon

I mean yeah idiots will think that, anyone who knows a lick of football history won't.

And here when I went to Canton they kept telling me I couldn’t lick the football history.

What, you mean the guy doing Depends ads and taking his girl’s tits back? Yeah, how could Shadeur do that to his legacy.

Stopped at its absolute peak.

It's good to be in something from the ground floor. I came too late for that and I know. But lately, I'm getting the feeling that I came in at the end. The best is over.

I also think Justin Fields DECLINING the Pro Bowl killed it forever
