Week 7 is underway, and we're tracking all the injuries before game time.
AFC East: Bills (bye) | Dolphins | Patriots (played Thurs.) | Jets AFC North: Ravens | Bengals | Browns | Steelers AFC South: Texans | Colts | Jaguars (bye) | Titans AFC West: Broncos | Chiefs | Raiders | Chargers (bye) NFC East: Cowboys | Giants | Eagles | Commanders (bye) NFC North: Bears (played Thurs.) | Lions | Packers | Vikings NFC South: Falcons | Panthers | Saints | Buccaneers NFC West: Cardinals | Rams | 49ers | Seahawks
Two star players who have each missed the past two weeks were back at practice for their respective teams.
The Philadelphia Eagles welcomed back Saquon Barkley after he's been out since Week 4 due to a hamstring injury . If all goes well, the running back is in line to play when the Eagles host the Dallas Cowboys on " Monday Night Football ."
Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson was also back on the practice field after sitting two games with an ankle injury. He is listed as questionable and could be a game-time decision, according to head coach Jesse Minter.
Jackson told reporters on Friday that he's "headed in the right direction" and "we'll see" when it comes to playing this week.
There was a worrying sign for the Los Angeles Rams on Thursday as wide receiver Puka Nacua left practice with a calf injury. He did not take part on Friday and head coach Sean McVay said Nacua will be listed as questionable against the Las Vegas Raiders. LA will already be without Davante Adams due to a hamstring injury.
Nacua has already missed two games this season with a psoas injury .
Other Week 7 injuries to monitor:
San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Mike Evans (ribs/Achilles) and defensive end Nick Bosa (knee/calf) did not practice on Thursday or Friday. Bosa has not practiced for almost a month after pulling his calf in practice and has already missed four games with the injury.
New York Jets running back Breece Hall (quad) returned to practice on Thursday. While he was a limited participant, it's an encouraging sign for Hall, who has missed three games with the injury. He is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Miami Dolphins.
The Arizona Cardinals will not have Jeremiyah Love (ankle) available to them this week against the Denver Broncos. The running back will be sidelined for a second straight game. Head coach Mike LaFleur told the media last week that an injured reserve stint had not been discussed for Love.
Baker Mayfield (thumb) is expected to return this week for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The quarterback has been out since injuring the digit in Week 3. He will not have Emeka Egbuka as one of his available weapons. The wide receiver was at practice on Friday, but remains in concussion protocol and is out for Sunday.
While the Houston Texans won't have running back David Montgomery (groin) against the New York Giants, they will be getting back Tank Dell. The wide receiver has not played since suffering a serious knee injury in Dec. 2024 . Nearly 22 months later, the 2023 third-round draft pick said he's feeling back to his old self. "I'm anxious to get back out there and play some football," he said.

At the entrance to the Intercontinental Barclays hotel in Midtown Manhattan, Jerry Jones fielded questions from reporters.
Will the Cowboys consider trade activity again before the NFL's Nov. 10 deadline?
"I don't have a specific [trade in mind], but certainly I'll be real clear: I would be active if we could get a chance to help the team this year," said Jones, the team's owner and general manager. "That's important, I think."
Jones' caveat of "this year" is important. It also might lead to an answer other than what the consummate entertainer Jones wants to promote.
The Atlanta Falcons will take the field Sunday with a throwback logo on their helmets — but not the design that went viral.
As part of their throwback uniforms, the Falcons will bring back a black falcon logo that the team used for more than four decades, starting in the 1960s.
To promote the throwbacks, Atlanta made a social media post showing the design, captioning that it was the team's new profile picture. The post incorporated the throwback logo with a background of red with black, gold and cream stripes, which mimics the striping on the team's retro helmets.
But people online quickly pointed out how the combination of the colors and the black logo evoked the Nazi flag, leading to satirical jokes.
New York Giants linebacker Tremaine Edmunds will miss the remainder of the 2026 season with a shoulder injury, The Athletic's Dan Duggan reports .
Edmunds, 28, was already listed as out for Week 7's matchup with the Houston Texans. However, he is apparently dealing with a torn muscle extending to his chest, according to ESPN's Jordan Ranaan .
This season, Edmunds compiled 50 total tackles in 6 games with 2 sacks and 3 tackles for loss. He signed a three-year, $36 million deal with the Giants after the Chicago Bears released him to create cap space.
Although the Seattle Seahawks activated running back Zach Charbonnet from the physically unable to perform list on Thursday , he won't play this weekend against the Kansas City Chiefs, head coach Mike Macdonald announced Friday .
When asked about Charbonnet being out, Macdonald said the Seahawks are "going along with the plan," alluding to Seattle's ramp-up strategy for the fourth-year back.
Charbonnet is coming off a torn ACL that he suffered in a divisional-round playoff win over the San Francisco 49ers last season.
"The plan was to get a great week's worth of work and see where we're at, and, so, we're going to take it into next week," Macdonald said. "I'd just say it's part of the plan."
The San Francisco 49ers have ruled out wide receivers Mike Evans and Deebo Samuel for Sunday's road game versus the Atlanta Falcons.
Evans and Samuel are dealing with Achilles and hamstring injuries, respectively.
Samuel also missed Monday's win over the Washington Commanders. Evans played in that game but was sidelined during practice this week.
Fortunately for the Niners, they might finally have wideout Christian Kirk (calf) on the field. He's "questionable" but has been practicing in full this week.
The Cardinals running back missed last week with an ankle injury and will be out again Sunday against the the Broncos. Head coach Mike LaFleur told the media last week that an injured reserve stint had not been discussed for Love.
Jackson was at practice again on Friday, but the team is still waiting to see how things progress over the next 48 hours with his ankle. Head coach Jesse Minter said the quarterback could end up as a game-time decision for Sunday's game against the Bengals.
Mayfield has been out since injuring his thumb in Week 3. He will likely not have Emeka Egbuka as one of his weapons, unfortunately. The wide receiver was at practice on Friday, but remains in concussion protocol and has been ruled out for Sunday.
The Houston Texans came into this season with high hopes. A defense that has been among the league's best not only returned almost all of its starters, but added a couple of new faces to fill in the gaps.
Houston's offense carried more questions into the season: how will the reconfigured offensive line play? Can the Texans run the ball? Will other pass-catchers step up to take advantage of the gravity pull of Nico Collins?
And perhaps the most important roster-based question this Houston franchise faced: can quarterback C.J. Stroud rediscover the magic from his rookie season and be worth the top dollar he is likely asking to be the Texans signal-caller for the long term ?
Kmet left the Bears' 30-24 win over the Patriots on Thursday night late in the fourth quarter. The tight end suffered a knee injury following a reception and collision with New England cornerback Christian Gonzalez and linebacker Robert Spillane.
He would need to be taken away on a cart after getting to his feet with the help of athletic trainers.
"I don't think it looked very good," said Bears head coach Ben Johnson afterward.
Hall of Fame running back Marshall Faulk has been diagnosed with Parkinson's disease, he revealed on an episode of the "Caring Neurologist" podcast published Wednesday .
Currently working as head coach at Southern University , Faulk said he has been dealing with the disorder for a year and half and caught it early, which has so far allowed for effective treatment. Parkinson's disease is a progressive brain disorder most known for inducing tremors, with no known cure.
Faulk, 53, said he was diagnosed after noticing issues while playing golf and bringing them up to his doctor.
Anthony Richardson Sr. of the Indianapolis Colts is facing a misdemeanor charge for possession of marijuana following an Oct. 12 traffic stop in Carmel, Indiana, according to FOX59 .
"We are aware of the situation involving Anthony Richardson and are currently gathering additional information," the Colts said in a statement. "We will have no further comment at this time."
Court documents obtained by FOX59/CBS4 show that charges were filed on Monday, a week after police officers stopped Richardson's black 2023 Dodge Charger. The vehicle's registration was reportedly expired and was assigned to a different car.
Entering Week 7, we're about only one-third of the way through the regular season. So what good is a playoff lookahead this early, especially one where last season's champs (Seahawks) and this season's favorites (Rams) are not included?
You might be surprised.
On the one hand, if we look at the Week 6 standings from the 2025 season , you'd notice that the Colts and Buccaneers were the top two seeds in each respective conference. Neither team ended up making the playoffs.
On the other hand, the fields were not that out of whack from what we eventually saw in the playoffs. Six of the seven AFC teams and five of the seven NFC teams that were in the playoff field after Week 6 eventually made the postseason.
So there are certainly some big-picture things we can take from the current playoff field. It gives some perspective on just how much ground preseason playoff favorites, such as the Rams and Texans, have to make up if they want in on the playoff party come January.
